H O W TO P L A N T
Sow seeds in fall or early spring, cover lightly with soil or not at all, as light is helpful for germination. Or start seeds in indoors 4 - 6 weeks before the last spring frost. Press the seeds into planting mix but do not cover seeds. Keep soil moist while germination occurs. When seedlings reach 1-2”, thin with scissors to one per cell in seed starting tray. Transplant once all danger of frost has passed. Space plants 10” apart. Grows back year after year as well as freely self seeds, but is not aggressive. A hardy variety which winters over in our Zone 4.
